2nd Annual Environmental Poetry Contest
Submit a Limerick or Haiku and Win a $100 Gift Certificate
It's easy! Let your creativity flow! Share your passion for the environment, and win a prize. There are two categories: Best Environmental Limerick, and Best Environmental Haiku. Each category has a first place prize ($100.00 Gift Certificate) and a second place prize ($50.00 Gift Certificate.
Da Rules!
- There are two categories: Best Environmental Haiku, and Best Environmental Limerick. Entries in the Haiku category must be in Haiku format and entries in the Limerick category must be in Limerick format.
- Entries must be original poems that include the theme of the environment, organic and green living, or nature.
- Contestants may enter as many times as they wish, with unique poems, in either or both categories
- A valid entry must include the contestant’s full name, email address, and at least one poem in either Haiku or
Limerick
format
- Kate’s Caring Gifts will select a list of qualifying finalists. The selection of qualifying finalists will be at the sole discretion of Kate’s Caring Gifts
- Qualifying poems will be posted on KatesCaringGifts.com for public voting. Any one can vote, one vote per valid email. Kate’s Caring Gifts reserves the right to disqualify suspicious votes, and to disqualify contestants receiving a high number of suspicious votes. Suspicious votes include a series of votes that come from the same IP address in a short period of time. Voting numerous times for yourself violates the spirit of the contest and is generally bad karma.
- All entries become the property of Kate’s Caring Gifts. Kate’s Caring Gifts reserves the right to use entries in future promotional material including web sites, ads, catalogs, flyers, and other promotional material.
- Qualifying finalists and winners will be notified by email
